ERE Research in Australia: A Precision Build by Z1 Cyclery with Genus AE00-D & AE92-D Wheels
ERE Research’s mission to deliver performance, precision, and real-world racing results continues to reach new corners of the globe including Australia, where a standout custom build has just rolled out of Z1 Cyclery in Queensland.
In collaboration with De Grandi Cycle & Sport, ERE Research’s official Australian distributor, Zac Collins and Kyle Moon-Boyd at Z1 Cyclery have crafted a remarkable performance setup that showcases the Genus AE00-D (disc) and Genus AE92-D (front) wheels in a truly world-class build.
Built for Speed and Stability
For this project, Z1 Cyclery selected ERE Research’s Genus series wheels proven under the toughest race conditions and paired them with a Ceepo KATANA frameset, a Japanese-engineered aerodynamic platform designed for pure speed.
While the Ceepo frame offers a lightweight and aerodynamic foundation, it’s the Genus AE00-D and AE92-D wheels that elevate this build into something special.
The Genus AE92-D front wheel delivers deep-section aerodynamic performance, the same wheelset that powered Megan Arens to her World Time Trial Championship victory in Kigali (read more).
At the rear, the Genus AE00-D disc ensures maximum aero efficiency, stiffness, and braking precision — a proven setup for time trials, triathlon, and flat-out racing performance.
“ERE Research is our go-to wheelset choice as it’s a fantastic mixture of high quality at a very competitive price. There is also a large variety of wheelset options to choose from too.”
— Zac Collins & Kyle Moon-Boyd, Z1 Cyclery Queensland
