A great quality workhorse gravel wheelset that will compliment any gravelrider who is looking for a step up from their standard wheels. The wheelset is a great upgrade for anyone ready to invest in a more durable and versatile gravel wheelset. It performs very well on the road and it can take heavier loads for bikepacking experiences as well.

The new Tenaci GX23 are the most reliable and versatile wheels for your gravel and travel bike. The low profile of the lightweight, welded rim with its 26mm inner width delivers an amazingly comfortable ride, while at the same time keeping the overall weight of the wheelset very low at 1.640grams.

Rim

The new Tenaci GX23 is an extruded lightweight welded 6069 alloy rim that we designed specifically for our performance gravel wheels at an affordable price level. the rim has a 23mm height and has 26mm inner width to accommodate a good fit for wider gravel and cross tyres. The bead shape is tubeless ready but can also be used with inner tubes.

New Iona-S hubs

The Tenaci GX23 are fitted with the new Ere Research Iona-S hubs with a 100% in-house engineered and manufactured design. The hubs are bulletproof and will practically run forever when properly taken care of. The straight-pull hubset has a low profile and a sturdy design. Its angled flange supports the directional torque going through the hub body, so it can take any beating.For our Iona hubs we use SKF sealed bearings. Perfect for wet gravel adventures.

Torque 2 design

For our Iona hubs we use our Ere Torque 2 design, which is taking care of the forces that the hub absorbs from the disc brake load when braking. When the rear wheel gets torque from the hub body when pressure is applied through the chain and cassette, it directs those forces where the material is strongest. That way we can remove material where we can and add material where needed.

Our new Iona hubs are as light as possible, but without compromising on strength and reliability. At the same time, we accomplished keeping the structural integrity with a very thin wall design made from very high-grade aluminium. This results in weights as low as 235grams for the rear hub and 100 grams for the front hub.

All orders under 100 will be shipped with a shipping fee of 7,50. Orders over 100 have no shipping charges.

DELIVERY TIMES

Your order will be processed immediately. Normally all orders placed before 17:00 CET will be shipped that day. We will not ship out any products during weekends and public holidays.

Tenaci GX23

Ere Tenaci GX23 gravel wheels are built to last and outrun the demanding conditions of gravel riding. A beefy alloy rim paired to our Genus R1 hubs. A strong combination at a great price point.

Tenaci GX23 wheels come standard with industrial sealed bearings. Optionally we offer upgrades with Japanese EZO sealed bearings or ceramic bearing for superlow roling restistance. Designed to keep your wheels spinning.

For our Tenaci GX23 wheels we use ere Talon aero spokes made of steel. The flat Talon Aero spokes offer up to 30% weight saving without compromising strength. The black aero spokes are straightpull and come fitted to the wheels with black alloy nipples. The alloy nipples come in at less than 0.3 gram each.
